On this episode of LE Tech Talks, Dr. Janne Gaub sat down with officers from three University Police Agencies, Chief Ed Book from the Santa Fe College Police Department, Captain Jason Wade with the University of Oregon Police Department, and Lieutenant Bradli Millington from the Kansas State University Police Department, who all implemented BWCs in their departments through the Body Worn Camera Policy and Implementation program.

In this second segment of the podcast, Dr. Gaub, Chief Book, Captain Wade & Lieutenant Millington discussed the nuts and bolts of a University Police BWC program, such as vendor and storage options, unique stakeholders in the University setting, and advice they would give to agencies thinking of implementing their own BWC program in a University setting.

Chief Applin discusses the use of body-worn cameras in schools by school resources officers. Chief Applin also provides an overview of the decision-making process to implement body-worn cameras in a school district, challenges of implementation, policy issues, and many other aspects of the implementation process.
