Justice & Security Strategies, Inc. (JSS) is pleased to announce the availability of a new publication – Body-Worn Camera Policies and Procedures: Guidelines for Prosecutors

Body-worn cameras (BWCs) and their footage are increasingly important for use in the criminal justice system. To assist police and prosecutors, the research team at JSS has collaborated with several distinguished criminal justice professionals to develop BWC policy guidelines for prosecutors. These guidelines cover topics ranging from prosecutor’s interactions with local law enforcement, to review and introduction of BWC footage as evidence in court, among others.

We encourage you to share this with your colleagues and prosecutor office. You may want to incorporate some elements of this document into your own policy.

You can download the publication here.
