The third Body-Worn Camera (BWC) Policy and Implementation Program (PIP) Regional Meeting was held on October 4-5, 2017 in Omaha, NE. The meeting discussed promising practices in the development and implementation of body-worn camera training as well as provide chiefs and command staff with information regarding how to work with communities, the media, and officers regarding the implementation of body-worn cameras. The goal of the meeting was to assist BJA grantees and non-grantees as they implement body-worn camera programs. Police chiefs, their command staff, officers, local government officials, city managers, and other stakeholders were invited to attend and participate.
